Sweet Creations of Charlotte is a culinary apprenticeship program developed by the Friendship Community Development Corporation (a North Carolina 501 (c) 3 Nonprofit Corporation) for practical application of culinary skills and art. The goal of Sweet Creations of Charlotte is to create sustainable solutions to poverty, hunger and homelessness through job training, food service revenue and social enterprise. Sweet Creations of Charlotte provides work force development opportunities for residents of My Sister’s House, a 26 bed transitional living center for single homeless women. The proceeds generated by Sweet Creations of Charlotte, supports the daily operations of My Sister’s House. Sweet Creations of Charlotte also provides training programs and employment opportunities for the residents of My Sister’s House. Several former residents have completed the residential program at MSH and culinary training program at Sweet Creations and secured fulltime position in the culinary industry in Charlotte.

~Sunday bakery offered twice a month, tasty treats include cakes. cookies Buffalo Chicken dip and Homemade soup.
